Course Overview
Throughout our course students will explore how computers work, how computer software is developed, how computers communicate with each other, and the ways in which software manipulates, stores and processes data. We prepare students for the challenges facing today’s computer-dominated world through a theoretical and practical understanding of the science behind computers.
BSc (Hons) Computer Science
Entry Requirement:
To enter Year 1:
- Minimum of 112 UCAS points
(GCE ‘A’ level) - IB – 26 points
- HNTEC Certificate
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in IT
(overall Merit-Merit grade) - Foundation in IT, or equivalent
To enter Year 2:
- Pearson Level BTEC Level 5 HND in Computing, or equivalent
