Siti K. Suhaimei

Ms Siti Suhaimei joined LCB as a counsellor in 2018 when the department was first established. As a counsellor, she strives to provide a warm and confidential space for students and staff to explore and manage their feelings, attitude and behavior without feeling judged. For 6 years as a counsellor, she has helped students and staff by listening and offering acceptance and empathy to their situation while also coming up with solutions together to help overcome their challenges in order for them to achieve a more positive experience in college, both academically and non-academically. Her areas of expertise include supporting students and staff with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and trauma.

Her education background includes a BSc in Psychology (Hons) from the University of Hull, United Kingdom in 2016 followed by a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Psychodynamic Counselling from the University of Essex, United Kingdom in 2017 and more recently, completed her Master in Counselling, Singapore awarded by Monash University, Australia in 2022. She is also actively learning different therapy techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Art therapy.

LCB’s counselling service offers a secure and empathetic environment tailored to assist students facing personal, social, or emotional challenges that might be affecting their academic achievements and overall wellness. The Counselling Room is situated on Level 2 of the Main Campus building.

Counselling Hours:

Wednesday – 10AM to 1PM

Thursday – 2.30PM to 5PM

Friday – 9.30AM to 11.30AM
