Ms Bogusia Mischke’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Studies (Second Upper Class) and an International MBA from the University of Glamorgan in Wales (2001), United Kingdom. She has also undertaken various professional qualifications such as completing the Higher Diploma in Business Administration examined by the Association of Business Executive, United Kingdom and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, given at Melbourne, Australia.
Specifically, one of her career achievements has been the successful set up and management of the First British Private College in Brunei under the partnership of Kensington College of Business, London and Abdul Razak Holdings, Brunei. Laksamana College of Business (LCB) was established in March 2003 and started off with only 25 students at the time while as of today LCB has reached the capacity of more than thousands of local and international students annually.
During the past 18 years living in Brunei, she has worked as both the Student Counsellor and a Lecturer in July 2007 and was later promoted as the Administration Manager of the College. From September 2018, her career progressed to the position of the Director of Academic Studies/Operations and she has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working in Brunei and Laksamana College of Business from the start.
On 11th of May 2020, she was also appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Bandar Seri Begawan by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and have received the letter of EXEQUATUR by his Majesty’s the Sultan Command and Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof on 18th of November 2020 in Bandar Seri Begawan. This is to maintain and develop the relations of friendship which exist between the Republic of Poland and the Brunei Darussalam and to represent Poland in Brunei Darussalam and Brunei Darussalam in Poland. In addition, to assist Laksamana College of Business with the new international dimension that it has been progressing towards. As well as directing herself towards internationally orientated culture.
