College launches international hackathon event

The group of 12 visiting students from South Korea participated in a specially curated Hackathon Camp, a dynamic programme focused on innovation, creativity, and cross-cultural collaboration, which began with an opening ceremony held last Wednesday hosted by Laksamana College of Business (LCB) at the college’s new Annexe Building Auditorium.

Throughout the camp, international students will take part in hands-on workshops, team challenges, and ideation sessions to spark entrepreneurial thinking and digital problem-solving.

Joining the South Korean participants were seven LCB students, selected to join the camp as peer collaborators where their involvement reinforces LCB’s commitment to providing immersive, real-world experiences that transcend the classroom.

The camp was officially launched by the LCB Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Principal Dr Sivarajah Subramaniam, who said it serves as a platform for global youth to co-create solutions, inspire one another and build lasting connections.
