BTEC International Level 2 Certificate in Business

The course consists of modules aimed at, aimed at developing a basic understanding of Business concepts, and accompanying soft skills. It is taught for over 2 semesters, three modules per semester. Assessments methods are both practical and written.

Why Do this Course?

BTEC Level 2 in Business is an introduction to Business and is suitable for students with little knowledge of how businesses operate. It aims to give students a basic understanding of fundamental business concepts, and corresponding soft skills. It is more practical than other programs, and students should expect to take part in several interviews, presentations, report writing and the preparation of basic financial reports. It opens pathways at diploma level in IT, Hospitality and Business. Many of our level 2 students have gone on to complete full university degrees, both here at LCB and abroad.
