About this Programme
The KCB BA Common Year One grants direct entry to the second year of many degree programmes. Students can use this year to learn and experience a breadth of topics finding out where their passion lies. Enjoying a field of study is necessary to excel at higher levels and our students have an opportunity to ensure they pursue a career in an interesting and profitable field.

Aims & Objectives
- The course enables students to develop and use a range of generic (transferable), cognitive, intellectual, personal and interpersonal skills required for effective undergraduate study and future vocational needs.
- It gives students practice in technical and management skills associated with the subjects that comprise their curriculum.
- To teach effective problem solving and decision making using appropriate quantitative and qualitative skills including identifying, formulating and solving business problems
