Course Overview

The BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business is a two year program, which blends academic theory with real world application. It is designed as either a stepping stone to enter directly into the second year of a university degree or as a stand-alone qualification.

The first year of the program consists of common modules, whereas in the second year of studies, students are able to choose from either our accounting pathway or our marketing pathway depending on their preference.

A BTEC Higher National Diploma student has free access to all core module text books online, as well as our own online libraries.

Upon the completion of Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business (Accounting or Marketing) students will have direct entry into second year of:

  • BA (Hons) Business Management
  • BA (Hons) Marketing
  • BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance

BTEC International Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business (Accounting or Marketing)

Entry Requirement:

  • 1 GCE ‘A’ Level + 4 GCE ‘O’ Level Credits*
  • BDTVEC National Diploma
  • HNTEC Certificate, or equivalent
    *GCE ‘O’ Level in English or IELTS score of 5.5 can also be considered with this
    qualification
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business
  • University Foundation Course
