LCB hosts Chinese university delegates
CHINESE delegates of Guangxi University of Finance and Economics (GUFE) recently visited Laksamana College of Business (LCB). They included GUFE Principal Xia Fei, Professor Meng Qiang, Professor Li Chunyou and Professor Tang Hongxiang.
The delegates were taken on a tour of the college and accommodation by Director of Academic Operations and Studies Bogusia Mischke, LCB’s Chinese lecturers and marketing team.
Bogusia presented a briefing on LCB and the courses offered, alongside LCB lecturer Xin Yi. Meanwhile, Xia Fei expressed grateful to LCB for hosting them.
GUFE has three campuses (with a fourth campus on its way), 10 research centres, over 1,400 staff and lecturers with 25,000 full-time students and 51 undergraduate subjects. GUFE also offers international student exchange programmes with more than 400 international students from over 50 countries.
LCB Director Haji Suhaimei bin Haji Awang Besar also paid GUFE a visit.
Xia Fei was keen to discuss potential exchange and collaboration to promote development between the two institutions. The presentation followed the exchange of gifts between the two institutions, and a photo session.
The delegates also visited the culinary school, and met with culinary school lecturers and chefs to know more about the Culinary School Programme.
