LCB, Chinese college eye enhanced cooperation

LAKSAMANA College of Business (LCB) is consistent in its objective to further its capabilities in education and enhance its level of teaching by keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in learning and studies. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between LCB and the Guangxi Financial Vocational College from China is a testament to this.

Director of LCB and Abdul Razak Holdings Sdn Bhd Haji Awang Suhaimei bin Haji Besar signed on behalf of LCB, while Guangxi Financial Vocational College was represented by its Vice President Xie Peishan.

Xie Peishan said the signing accentuated the continuing relationship in the field of education between China and Brunei Darussalam, and Guangxi Financial Vocational College in particular wishes to continue this trend and look for opportunities and cooperation in the field of education.

He said, they have made “a lot of plans” to reach the objectives of the MoU, and hope to achieve some of these plans during their stay in the country.

He said they are looking at student exchange programmes between Guangxi Financial Vocational College and LCB.

“Back home, we will promote LCB study programmes to our faculties and students. Under the MoU with the support of the governments of both countries, this exchange programme and other cooperation will be made possible,” he said.
