LOCAL start-up Korudein, specialising on business intelligent solution and services inked a deal with QAF Auto, official distributor of BMW and MINI cars in Brunei, yesterday to develop a website for QAF Auto’s used cars service.

Korudein is founded by 25-year-old Nadrah Hazwanee Amir and Haziqah Aimuni Harethfardelah, 23, the first incubatees in the Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (EIC) at Laksamana College of Business (LCB). Both graduated from LCB’s Computer Science last August and this is the first major project for the duo.

The official signing ceremony took place at QAF Auto showroom in Beribi, where the General Manager of QAF Auto Siva Kumar Krishnan signed on behalf of QAF Auto while Korudein was represented by the designer and founder Nadeharah Hazwanee Amir.

Present to witness the signing ceremony was the Board of Director from LCB Haji Suhaimei bin Haji Besar, LCB’s Chief Operating Officer cum Deputy Principal Sivarajah Subramaniam and Sales Manager from the QAF Auto’s Used Cars Department Terence Chin.

QAF Auto’s Used Cars Department was officially established at the start of 2018, and has been a valuable part of the automobile company serving the customers with wide range of models and price range.

The website, scheduled to be launched next month, will provide customers a one-stop communication channel for all current and prospective customers. The catalogue-styled layouts and user-friendly interface makes for seamless browsing.

Prior to the signing, Siva explained that this partnership with LCB aims to nurture aspiring entrepreneurs in developing high potential start-up companies in the Sultanate. This will also be an avenue for collaborative projects between the academy and experts in the industry.

“We’d like to build a platform to project all our used cars for the convenience and ease of our customers and what other better way that to have a one-stop website for it,” he said before adding, “We trust and support these aspiring entrepreneurs from the college.”

The partnership was also in-line with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s titah during the recent 13th Youth Day celebrations whereby the ruler stressed on harnessing youth’s entrepreneurial potential by providing a healthy business ecosystem for them to grow and penetrate global markets.
