University of Chester representative visits LCB

LAKSAMANA College of Business (LCB) yesterday received an official visit from the University of Chester, United Kingdom, Elzbieta Siddiqui, the International Officer, International Centre for University of Chester.

The visit included a presentation on the University of Chester, delivered by Elzbieta. The presentation was attended by LCB students from various programmes such as the BA Common Year One, BTEC HND in Business and Computing, and as well as the degree students currently doing the University of Chester programmes in the first and second-year degree.

The students of LCB had the opportunity to know more about the university from the representative itself. In Elzbieta’s presentations, she started with an introduction of life in the United Kingdom and reason to study there.

She highlighted that, it will be the best opportunity for the students to improve their English proficiency while studying in the UK, students are also able to meet people from all over the world and more.

The students were informed that the University of Chester is one of the oldest institutions in England, established in 1839.

Three of the reasons to study at the University of Chester are free English language classes for students to enhance their writing skills, it is work based learning and it is the safest city-based institution in the region for the third year running according to the Complete University Guide 2017.

LCB is a main partner with the University of Chester and has been recognised to offer the full degree programmes awarded by the university since February 2015. Four of the major programmes currently offered in LCB are BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BA (Hons) Business Management, BA (Hons) Marketing and BSc (Hons) Computer Science
