KACA receives donation from LCB

A GROUP of students from Laksamana College of Business (LCB) recently lent a helping hand to the special needs community, by donating $530 to the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA).

Present to receive the donation from the students was Haji Abdul Alim bin Haji Othman, the Managing Director of KACA, who praised the students for their generosity.

According to one of the students, Chong Ji Woei, “The money came from the sales of LCB hoodies, months ago, and also from individual donors. We had planned to donate all the proceeds to a special needs centre, because we believe it could use the financial support.

“Everyone in the college has contributed to the donation, and I would like to express my gratitude to those involved for making this a successful event. I would hope to conduct more activities like this in the future, which can benefit the local community.”
