Visiting UK delegation in friendly futsal with LCB students
A DELEGATION from the University of Chester, United Kingdom comprising Dr Chris Haslam, Pro Vice-Chan-cellor; Garfield Southall, Head of School of Computer Science and Mathematics and Dr David Balsamo, Dean of Social Science, visited Laksamana College of Business (LCB) recently.
The delegation, along with Ian Pirie, Principal/Director of Laksamana College of Business/Kensington College of Business and Sivarajah Subramaniam, Chief Operating Officer of LCB, and other academic staff had a friendly futsal match against LCB students.
The match was organised by LCB at Dar Takaful Brunei Darussalam. Also joining the match was Haji Adinin bin Mohd Salleh, Secretariat of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council, Ministry of Education.
The main objective of the match was to provide students at LCB an opportunity to interact with the delegation from the University of Chester and also with the principal, Ian Pirie.
The delegation was also invited to attend the LCB graduation ceremony held recently at the Songket Ballroom, The Rizqun International Hotel in Gadong which saw 620 students graduated from various courses for the 2014/2015 session.
